Adding the last tiles in at the base of the shower. Why was there a 41 day break from 17 Jan to 27 Feb? Because of the Think Creative office move, which I had to throw all my energy into for a while. It was a great success.

This is the grout for the walls. It’s very good, but you have to mix an activator to it and then you have just over an hour to work it into the gaps. It’s very expensive too.

The last tile. Tiling is madness. Grouting with epoxy grout is awful: it goes off faster than you can use it and it’s terrible stuff to clean off anything it gets onto. This bathroom has consumed £275 worth of grout! There are still some bits I’ll finish off with normal grout.

The shower is all silicone sealed and the shower head bracket is up. I just need to wait 24 hours or so and then I can have the first shower. I’ve never actually lived anywhere where there’s been a shower.
