After getting a few boards in position last week, now the vapour barrier has been added to the first part of the floor and some more boards positioned.

Yesterday was a day off for Christmas, but today work continues. I’ve now boarded up to the bath, including a special bit around the toilet which can be replaced later when the new toilet goes in. The bath must be moved onto the new floor to allow the next bit to be worked on. It’s very heavy.

I’ve moved the bath, cleared everything out the way and rolled out the remainder of the vapour barrier.

A not particularly impressive picture of as much of the finished floor as I can get in a shot. Next I’ll raise the sink to the correct height and then get ready to go for a curry with Nick and Alison.
