This filter will need to go on the heating return pipe to remove debris so that it doesn’t get in the boiler. It uses a centrifugal process and a powerful magnet.

This bit of wall used to be part of the chimney, which was dismantled. I’ve spent hours chiseling away at the very hard concrete lintel and cutting the reinforcement bars off to get it flush to the wall.

This weekend, amongst other things, such as getting my hair cut, I’ve hung this door and fitted the door furniture. The door came from Wickes and it’s a Denham Oak Veneer interior door. It’s nice outside, so I’ve been filling holes with gravel by the side of the house.

This week I’ve decided to put the lights in the ceiling to replace the temporary single pendant light that’s been swinging around for ages. I started with three of these, but then added another two and then another above the shower to get the right light level. Sally’s party in the evening.

18mm plywood is screwed to the wall. This means you can screw into the wall at any point as well as adding a bit more strength and sound proofing.

The sink’s been in the middle of the room for some months now and now the time’s come to work on the next section of the floor it’s going to have to move. I’ve put in the new plumbing ready for it so the old pipes which came down from the ceiling can now be dismantled.
