Today I’ve been moving the scaffolding and putting more rubber gaskets and foam strip on. You can see the four panels we did yesterday.

Nick, Simon and Gaz have come round this morning and we’ve managed to get another 3 units up. William’s just doing the lead flashing on the ridge.

Everyone’s gone home after the final units were put on the roof and I’ve just cut the lead on the end of the gable into a nice curve.

Yesterday Steven, Jackie, Simon, William and Neil came round and we got the last of the units onto the roof. The last one on the far side was difficult. It looks great in this bit of evening sun after more rain.

A lovely warm, sunny day, just a month after we had snow. The first of the side windows goes in. Just one bead at the top to hold it at the moment.

I’ve excavated to find the drainage pipe that was laid next to the wall years ago. I’ve cut a hole and inserted the connector to the square down pipe.

The glass is all in, apart from the doors, which still need putting in. Got a couple of chairs in there.

This weekend I’m fitting the doors, with William’s help. The hinges I’ve got are adjustable, which makes them quite thick, so they need a bit of rebating.

William’s come out on a Sunday as he knows I want to get the doors in and glazed this weekend. He’s planing off the back edge of this door.

The doors are in and glazed, but still need some adjustment. The outside beads didn’t fit, so we’ll need to get those re-made before they’re put on.
